Dale Blackford

Rev. Warren Dale Blackford is a Unity minister who currently resides in San Diego. He was ordained in 1983 by the Unity School of Christianity. Throughout his career, he has served as a Senior Pastor in five different ministries, including one in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Rev. Blackford is also the author of the book “Seeds of Content: Sprouting Full Joy from Utter Despair.” He has been living in Pacific Beach for the past ten years, attending the Pacific Beach United Methodist Church. 

Rev. Rajiv Vassanji is a man whose life has been a testament to resilience, introspection, and the relentless pursuit of inner peace. From a young age, Rajiv experienced a deep sense of disconnection, feeling as if his life was a dream from which he might suddenly awaken. Although his family dismissed these feelings as mere childhood imaginings, they were the early signs of a profound spiritual inquiry that would shape his life.

Growing up in an oppressive environment, Rajiv faced significant challenges. At 19, the sudden death of his father forced him to leave school and become the primary provider for his widowed mother and younger sister. Despite these hardships, Rajiv built a family of his own, marrying and raising two daughters.

In 2011, Rajiv's life took a difficult turn when he was struck by a deep depression following a significant personal blow. Although he sought therapy and experienced some recovery, he continued to suffer from anxiety attacks and a crippling loss of self-confidence, leading to a profound identity crisis.

In 2018, Rajiv faced another life crisis that deepened his sense of isolation and despair. Despite feeling increasingly disconnected from the world, he persisted in his search for help, continuing to work with therapists while struggling to find relief. His search for answers eventually led him to discover *A Course in Miracles* in 2021, a book that radically transformed his understanding of life and spirituality.

This newfound perspective, although transformative, did not entirely alleviate his struggles, prompting Rajiv to travel twice to Rishikesh, India, in search of deeper clarity and peace. Through his journey, Rajiv has come to feel a powerful inner calling to help others who are lost in confusion and fear.

Today, Rajiv dedicates himself to guiding both spiritual seekers and young teenagers who feel disconnected from their parents and society. Drawing from his own experiences and the wisdom he receives from the Holy Spirit, he helps them find clarity, peace, and joy. Rajiv’s mission is to support those on their journeys of self-discovery, helping them navigate their inner worlds and achieve the inner peace that has become his own life's pursuit.
